Vintage 2022
94 Points
Produced in McLaren Vale, here we have a bright, modern style, combining the great grenache grape and touriga, a grape most commonly used in Portugal for ports and full-bodied reds. Wonderfully succulent flavours of mulberries and black cherries, with the aroma of violets. This is amazing value.

93 Points Ned Goodwin - Halliday Wine Companion
The wines at this address are on the inexorable rise. A deft hand with touriga (30%), responsible. A lightning rod of energy, soaring florals and pulpy blue fruits underlying grenache's more hedonistic tendencies. Some bramble from whole bunches imbues savouriness. This is far from the transparent, pinot-like expressions that mark the Vale. It is a rich and throaty wine, yet fresh, effusive of fruit, detailed of structural latticework and impressively long.
