About this product

The story of La Chablisienne begins back in 1923. Under the leadership of Abbé Balitrand, a number of winegrowers joined forces to better withstand the economic difficulties of the period. Together, in the middle of the Chablis vineyards, they created a cooperative winery to market their wines.

The 1er Cru Grande Cuvee is a blend of Chablis premier crus from the right and left banks of the region's Serein River, offering a snap shot of the quality of Chablis' premier cru vineyards.

Pale gold in colour with light silver reflections, a limpid and brilliant wine.Expressive and concentrated with aromas of peach, pineapple, and subtle toasted notes with time in the glass. The palate is lively with plenty of energy. Lemon and citrus notes bring freshness and tension. Aromas of vanilla and dried fruits give the wine a fine density and length in the mouth.
