A hand-selected parcel of 10-year-old South Australian Tawny has been finished in first fill, small format ex-Bourbon barrels for 6 months resulting in this expressive example from the house of Galway Pipe. The small format Bourbon barrel ageing has a profound influence amplifying the premium tawny's character with exotic bourbon notes of charred wood, rye, and toasted malt. With complex flavours on the palate such as caramel, vanilla, fruitcake, and an abundance of sweet spice entwining harmoniously with the tawny's essence to create a perfect union.

Galway Pipe in the Bourbon Barrel is just so smooth and has a lovely fruitiness without being too sweet. Really enjoy this whilst sitting outside around the fire-pit. We love it!
