Medium to full red colour with purple tints, and a very spicy, black cherry, and stemmy whole-bunch bouquet. It's young and sappy, grippy and a little raw, with the potential to be more interesting in a year or so. It’s a bit young and callow on the day. Cellar short-term.

Bold flavours hold fort, those typical of pinot noir from the lower, warmer area of Mornington Peninsula such as dark and maraschino cherries with the savouriness of salami, too. There's a sweet spot alongside fleshy ripe tannins, full-bodied and loads of immediate appeal.
