The pure varietal intensity of cabernet bursts out from the first encounter on the nose. Loads of blackcurrant and dark chocolaty plum and prune juice. The palate is an intense affair with deep and penetrating flavours supported by minerally tannins and neatly aligned oak. Traces of varietal oyster shell and ironstone adds further complexity. The tannins build to the finish to sustain a long tightly wound palate.
