Pale straw in the glass with a striking nose of juicy white peach, citrus and nectarine fruits underscored by dreamy, cashew-like French oak, white flowers, oatmeal, almond paste and stone. Tight, scintillating acidity provides a vital pulse and the wine finishes with impressive clarity and detail. Fans out beautifully with a textural, light-phenolic tweak and a lovely white peach, citrus and roasted nut flourish.

Very light yellow hue; smoky oak, lees and low-level sulfide aromas combine to create a complex impression, the palate restrained and delicate yet superbly intense and multi-layered. Deep-set lemon/citrus and almost kiwi-fruit flavours. A most impressive young chardonnay, roasted hazelnuts powering the palate, which is refined and long. (Gold medal and trophy, Melbourne Royal Wine Awards 2022).
