It's rare for Lenton Brae to have a miss. This wine certainly isn't. Indeed it's pretty much bang on. It tastes of blackcurrant, cedarwood, dried herbs and mulberry and when you swallow - a run of chocolate eases through your mouth. It's juicy, medium weight, soundly persistent and well framed. It's not a “special� wine but it's exactly what a wine at this price should deliver.
