Chateau Beau-Site is a historic Chateau that dates back to the 18th century. The name  Beau Site can be translated to a beautiful site. Part of its beauty comes from its stellar views of the Gironde estuary. Since 1955, the vineyard had been owned by the well-known, popular and powerful Casteja family.  This Cru Bourgeois is famous for delivering outstanding value and offering wines that can be enjoyed without extended cellaring.

Typical Modern Bordeaux commercial red. Well balanced, well made, acceptable but lacks nose and fruit. For the cost ($50.00 +) a much more enjoyable Australian red could be purchased.
