About this product

Aurkitu means to "find" or to "discover" in the Basque language and when the producers came upon the remote, beautiful vineyards of the Baja Montaña, they certainly felt like they had stumbled upon one of the great treasures of Spain. The fruit is sourced from old vineyards around the villages of Leache and Aibar in the very Eastern reaches of Navarra, close to the border with Aragon. The grapes possess a freshness and vitality that is absolutely delicious with the resulting wine intense and bright, with hints of spice and beautiful texture.
