Reserve Durif

Durif is not for the faint-hearted, characteristically having dense colour with purple and black tints, intense aromas of blackberry, mulberry violets and blackberry. This wine is intensely dark with cherry hues and the aroma of complex pepper, nutmeg and clove spices, ripe plum, berries and cocoa, with a touch of cigar and vanilla oak. The palate is very savoury with notes of freshly cracked pepper and roast beef, liquorice, coffee and cocoa, cranberry and rhubarb. Some fresh and balanced American oak contributes great length and structure, with a refreshing plum and berry fruit pop at the finish.
