What a wine. It's spine-tingling, thrilling and the epitome of elegance. Vivid purple with red plums and black cherries, a floral note wafting in with powdered ginger and star anise. An evenly modulated palate, extraordinary powdery tannins and an ultra-long finish. There's such depth and complexity here, and it just appears effortless.

Deep, bright purple/red colour and a slightly raw, grapy, faintly floral aroma, quite youthful and straightforward. It's very fresh. The wine is medium-bodied and soft in the mouth, with a faint trace of spice and red fruits, and mild, soft tannins. Elegance is the byword. It's very approachable already but will doubtless age well.
