About this product

After cellaring, The Vicar has evolved into an even more refined and deeply expressive McLaren Vale Shiraz—an exceptional showcase of site, craftsmanship and time. The inky black colour still holds, but the fruit has deepened and softened beautifully. Blackberry, plum and dark chocolate have become more harmonious, while the twist of aniseed and wild herb notes have integrated into a layered, savoury complexity. The nose now reveals softened florals, black liquorice and hints of dried fennel, with added earthiness from age. Silky, succulent tannins now glide across the palate, supporting a wine that’s powerful yet poised, with a finish that lingers effortlessly. A matured expression of purity and grace—The Vicar at its most elegant.
