Deep, dark red colour, with black tints and a faint trace of purple. There's a trace of oyster-shell on the nose, together with graphite, earth and rocky, ironstone mineral notes. The palate is sweet on entry and then more savoury and drying, with considerable richness and a velvety texture. It's full-bodied and dense, a satisfying drink.
