Just before the French Revolution, the family moved to Vosne-Romanée. The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Pruliers 1er Cru has a gorgeous bouquet of generous red berry fruit, Earl Grey, pressed white flowers and just a slight orange blossom aroma. The palate is sweet on the entry, offering vibrant red cherry and strawberry fruit. Mineralité floods through the wine on the persistent finish. Yet another scintillating contribution from this vineyard.
