Tomintoul 21YO, rated 94 in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2019, “a superstar whisky”. You should expect a light bodied and smooth single malt, not very complex and great for after dinner. This single malt is an excellent whisky to start your whisky journey and enjoy for many decades later with vast choice of age statements any whisky enthusiast would want in their collection. Tasting notes: Nose: Crushed vanilla pods, orange blossom, balanced oak and some light spice. Palate: Butterscotch, vanilla toffee, creamy with white pepper. Finish: Creamy vanilla, tropical fruits and soft tobacco.
