Designed by the winemakers to highlight the very best attributes that Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon can offer. Lavish, long, velvety and superbly balanced, this is a "ripened to the minute", carefully crafted red that easily achieves the winemaker's aim. A potpourri of dried red petals, spearmint, a slush of mulberries, boysenberries and plums, carefully nurtured in vanilla/cedar French oak and supported by regional minerality. Extremely well balanced - you could say, "graceful", this Coonawarra beauty will become even more radiant over the next ten years.

Fresh mulberries, bramble and lingonberries. Cracked allspice, cardamom and licorice straps. There is a pleasant amount of blue plums and dried bilberries. Oak is well integrated into the wine, providing framework to carry the generous fruit. It feels like there has been some restraint here, and it stands out amongst the portfolio. A wine that will have a long life ahead.
