It goes without saying that Coonawarra produces many of the finest wines that Australia is famous for. For a debutante wine to make an impact on that assemblage it needs to be very good. Enter Riddoch The Representative Cabernet Merlot.
From the concentrated and perfumed nose to the impeccable layering of flavours it's clear that premium fruit and top-grade oak were employed in its creation. Red and black berries, black currants, warm spices and elegant tannins are the main attributes, immaculately balanced and with a sustained finish. A wonderfully stylish wine that will cellar well. Exceptional value at the offered price.
