Deep colour. Fresh dark berry, black olive, graphite aromas with espresso oak notes. Well concentrated wine with deep set blackberry, grilled almond, vanilla flavours, plentiful fine tannins. Builds up brambly firm. Almost gritty. Tasted at Ch Haut Brion.
