The colour is quite light: just a full amber/orange with a fruity young-wine nose of muscaty quince-paste, preserved lemon and honey. There is a lot of sweetness on the palate, which is youthful and straightforward as topaques go, a very sweet and fruity youngster with bright and drying acidity firming up the finish. ("Old" seems a bit of an exaggeration)
