Enjoyed this bottle over the weekend and it compares to the 2008 Don Perignon . This is an exquisite champagne easy to drink and very smooth

I have recently purchased $470 Krug, $450 Dom Perignon and 4 bottles of $350 Perrier Jouet Belle Époque but the Champagne that stood out was Pol Roger Vintage 2016. Excellent champagne and particularly for the price.

First tried this in Epernay many years ago. In my humble opinion, it beats much more expensive champagne’s, including Dom Pérignon.

Best Champagne I have tried to date. It is so refine that you actually enjoy every sip of it. Very reach on a pallet with complex aromas, nice bodied wine! It feels creamy with a cheesy aromas. Produces fines bubbles I have seen so far.

I bought a few of these from Dans a while back and havent had the occasion to pop one yet, I think they will be best drinking in a few years, however I was dining out with friends at the Treasury in Adelaide and they had the 2002 Vintage on

As a lover of the Pol Roger NV, it thought i would treat myself to the vintage. Perhaps my expectations were too high but i didn't find a discernible improvement in quality of the NV. With no other 2006 vintage reviews i don't have anything
