There's some beef here. It's a spicy, stewy, brooding pinot noir with a wealth of earth-like notes rising up from beneath. Not so pretty, but built on firm, solid foundations. You get the feeling it's going places. Fine, strict tannin completes a pretty impressive picture. Drink 2018-2024.

Deepish ruby colour with a good tint of purple. The bouquet is elusive and earth-bound, terrestrial, forest floor, with some sweet vanilla nuances over stewed cherries. Oaky tannins are a touch dominant on the finish. Assertive acidity also spikes the palate. It needs food, or time. Potential, though.
