A big style of tempranillo, very dark and concentrated, with plenty of choc/cedar oak, vanilla, dark cola, deep black fruit, chinotto - dusty and a touch leathery. A full bodied, smooth, concentrated style destined to accompany roast meat. “You get a lot for your money with this big, smooth wine. It displays its McLaren Vale credentials very well,” advises Panelist, Rob Aitken.

Red cherry lashed with peppery spice, an almost undergrowth scent, anise, faint malt. Palate is washy, juicy, good depth, good swish of tannins fanning out through the finish. Sour-sweet fruit flavours lovely too, more spice to taste of course. Good drinking here. Add charcuterie plate
