Annie's Lane from South Australia's Clare Valley have been providers of fantastic quality wines and value-for-money prices for decades. The Cabernet Merlot is a firm favourite with many who love an easy drinking style with a full-bodied backbone. From the quite brilliant 2014 vintage, all the hard work has been done for you by the Dan Murphy's temperature contolled cellar and is perfect to open alongside a nice rack of lamb tonight.

Quite smooth. Exceptional value in a wine from a reputable area that also has a bit of age on it. Could be cellared, but I haven’t the space! That’s my excuse anyway.

It's rich and mellow, easy to drink. Doesn't have harsh tannins like some reds. This is my all round favourite red. Fabulous value

This wine has improved over the years. Smooth and rounded , like a merlot should be. But without being too robust. Nice casual drop. Will buy again when on special again. Wouldn’t buy at full price.
