Ultra pale pink in colour, the flash of zippy red apple and strawberry flavours takes you by surprise, at first - and then you settle into it. This wine has a special balance of intensity and delicacy, brought about, mostly, by the use of pinot noir and the deft handling by the winemaker. The palate also has a touch of creaminess, and the finish is crisp and refreshing. Gee, they make good wine in Tassie!
