Cheese Sticks
Learn how to make cheese sticks as a savoury snack

Ingredients
- 4 sheets frozen puff pastry
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp pepper, freshly cracked
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
Method
- Thaw the pastry sheets. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease two baking trays.
- Place two of the four pastry sheets on a flat surface. Brush the melted butter over the squares and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the pastry, leaving a little for the twisting.
- Place the last two sheets on top of the cheese, gently pressing down, brush the top of the pastry with butter.
- Cut into strips, twist each piece, place on the baking trays and sprinkle the last of the cheese.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until puffy and lightly browned.
