7 hard lemonades we’re loving right now

There’s something about the taste of old-school lemonade that takes us right back to simpler times. Like when you’d enjoy it freshly squeezed and ice-cold after a dip in the neighbour’s pool as a kid, or devour a citrusy icy pole in the back of a hot car after school. Whatever your association with lemonade back in the day, there’s no denying it’s a refreshing and memory-inducing flavour. So now, as adults, sipping on an alcoholic version means we get a serving of nostalgia, along with a tasty and refreshing beverage that’s perfect for this time of year. There are also plenty of hard lemon squashes out there, but we’re leaning into alcoholic lemonades, so here are some of our favourites to see you through the season.

1. Brookvale Union Vodka Lemonade

Kicking it off with a hard lemonade that’s equal parts nostalgic and fresh, this is a nod to yesteryear and a whole lot of fun. 3. Doozy Half and Half Iced Tea and Lemonade

The story behind Doozy? A group of Sydney Swans players wanted a refreshing beverage that wasn’t beer. The result is a low-carb option the whole crew can get around, whether it’s for a party or a chilled Sunday arvo. They’ve taken iced tea and lemonade – a ripper combination – and added vodka to create something really tasty. A total crowd-pleaser, this low-carb, low-sugar RTD will be on high rotation as the weather warms up. Toss it into the esky and sip it with a barbecued sausage in bread in the other hand.

4. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey & Lemonade

6. White Claw Refrshr Alcoholic Lemonade Variety 10 Pack
