Ingredients:
- 75mL Mumm Cordon Rouge
- 20mL Cognac
- 15mL sugar syrup
- 15mL lemon juice
This classic Champagne cocktail is easy to prepare and never fails to please. The Mumm Cordon Rouge is a nutty, toasty Champagne from one of France’s iconic producers and makes for a fantastic brunch accompaniment. Just add sugar syrup, a splash of Cognac and some lemon juice, then serve it up with Mum’s favourite brunch. Eggs Benedict, anyone?
- 60mL Lanson Brut Rosé
- 60mL Aperol Aperitivo
- 30mL soda water
- Orange wheel to garnish
Put a pink twist on your mum’s favourite Spritz with this super-refreshing cocktail that’s perfect as a lunchtime aperitif. It takes the classic Aperol Spritz and switches prosecco out for sparkling rosé, balancing the creaminess of the sparkling with Aperol's bitterness. To make the Spritz, pour the rosé, Aperol and soda water into a large wine glass over ice and mix. Pop an orange wheel on the rim of the glass and you’re done! And if you’re after lunch ideas, fresh oysters or smoked salmon are always a great choice.
Ingredients:
- 60mL Ink Sloe & Berry Gin
- 30mL fresh lemon juice
- 15mL simple syrup
- Soda water
- Orange wheel to garnish
What’s not to love about the Ink Sloe Fizz? It’s simple to make, the recipe is easy to remember, it looks fantastic and tastes even better. All you need to do is add the gin, lemon and syrup to a wine glass filled with ice, then top with soda water and garnish with an orange wheel. The bubbles and citrus will help cut through the sweetness of the sloe gin, resulting in a cocktail that can be enjoyed with dinner or after – or both. Pairing it with food? A Thai beef salad is a fantastic option for a main. Alternatively, save the Ink Sloe Fizz for an after-dinner digestif along with a cheese platter. The sharp flavours of goat’s and blue cheeses will pair well with this cocktail.
