It works well for most sparkling bottles! On bottles with a thicker top it isn't going to fit, and thats why I think there has been negative reviews. Went back recently to purchase two more.

Seems to seal quite well,easy to fit.Its never slipped off top of bottle, can see that might happen with screw top shaped but corked bottles seam to be good

This 'Bar Station Champagne Stopper' doesn't fit bottles that all my other stoppers do. I've several similar stoppers, all of which work fine... except for this one that just doesn't fit. Won't close over the bottle. Rubbish.

As the title alludes to, it is badly designed junk. I got it to work with a rubber band around its base to keep it on and sort-of-work.

Don't buy this stopper. It slipped off and doesn't seem to grip the bottle. Not worth the money or hassle.

Brought two for a trip away and first one fell apart trying to get onto the bottle and second one continually slipped off the bottle. Returned for my money back.
