McLaren Vale Shiraz 2022

Velvet-like at first sip, then textural, complete with a sort of lush, plush tannic screen. This red wine offers a long loop of flavours, yet all of them end in an ultimately dry finish. From red currant to blackcurrant; raisin to black olive; green herbs to tawny port. This is grainy and mouth-filling and coating, then comes the dry finish, with its peppery and savoury and acidic send-off.
