Birra Ichnusa, or simply Ichnusa, is the name of a popular Sardinian-made beer, which is brewed in Assemini, a town near the Sardinian capital Cagliari. It is named after the Latinised ancient name Sardinia, Hyknusa.

I first tried this in Sardinia and really enjoyed it, when I returned home I was surprised I could get it in Australia. I bought some for my family to try and everyone liked it. If you enjoy bland beer this is not for you.
