About this product

These low-yielding, 30plus year-old Riesling vines are planted on the lean, rocky yellow podzolic soils and the cool climate perfectly accentuates the classic Riesling typicity.
Pale straw with a lime green tinge. Lifted lemon, grapefruit and lime citrus on the nose.  finely textured palate that is brilliantly focused and linear. Pristine citrus fruits balanced by classic, regional Eden Valley bright acidity, leading to a superbly long mouth-watering dry finish. Wonderfully poised for a graceful development.
"...an energetic, precise, lip-smacking finish."
93pts, Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion. Rating Badge: Special Value.
Jellicoe sits high up in the Eden Valley at around 475-meters above sea level. This vineyard is known for its low-yielding, old vines and the classic characteristics they impart to the Riesling wine.
The Sorby Adams wine label honours John Couch Adams, an ancestor of Simon Sorby Adams, who mathematically proved Neptune's existence.
