Chenin Blanc is an under-appreciated grape in much of Australia. Not so much in West Australia where it has a strong foothold and produces good wines. This example from the gorgeous Margaret River wine region delivers classic Chenin Blanc characters of baked apple, quince, a touch of citrus, perhaps honeysuckle, and a creamy textural feel brought about by a nutty-leesy presence. Finishing long and fresh, it's time to discover this great all-rounder.
