This Merlot has black currant fruit presence within a fleshy palate whose softened structure provide a plush mouthfeel. There is a demonstration of attentive tannin extraction as the seamlessly integrated structure offers both density and elegance with waves of restrained black currant fruit depth. A dried earth character seen across the subtle finish suggests future years in the cellar will reveal further earthy, mushroom and truffle characters.
