Under WrapsAdelaide Hills Shiraz 2012
About this product
This Secret Selection Adelaide Hills Shiraz is stylishly well structured. The cooler climates provided by the elevated Southern Boundary from the Barossa Ranges benefit the wines from Adelaide Hills. A touch of cinnamon spice in the beginning mixed with ripe dark fruits on the palate. It finishes with subtle oak tannins. Drinking beautifully now, but this wine will continue to flourish with the right cellaring conditions.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

From near the southern boundary between the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. Good colour; fermented and then matured in French hogsheads; it has a spicy, savoury, peppery edge to the red and black cherry fruits.
