20yo vines, includes 1.8% viognier, open-fermented together with some whole bunches, cultured yeast, 12 days on skins, matured in French oak (25% new) for 15 months. A wine with attitude and complexity to burn; black cherry, blackberry and surprisingly firm (although ripe and balanced) tannins have a cool(er) climate intensity.
