Whilst drinking with a friend on the back porch in Connecticut, USA, our head distiller and founder discovered what good small batch Moonshine was all about, and on returning to Australia realised Australia needed to experience high quality moonshine as well! Quiet Corner Distillery's Premium Moonshine is not your typical hillbilly harsh spirit of old.It's a Premium, handcrafted, small batch spirit carfully distilled from the finest ingredients.Smooth, sweet with rye undertones and botanical notes, often described as a cross between Tequila and Whisky.It is a fantastic substitue for Vodka where you want greater depth and complexity of flavour.Enjoy around a campfire, BBQ or at a cocktail party, but always with friends! Cocktail Suggestions: Clampett Martini 75ml chilled Premium Moonshine, 15m Dry Vermouth, shaken or stirred. Garnish with a Cornichon! AppalachianIn a tall glass, half fill with ice, add 60ml premium moonshine, 3 dashes of Angostura Bitters and top up the glass with Mountain Dew! Fun Fact: Mountain Dew was originally invented as a mixer for Moonshine! And the term "Mount Dew" was slang for Moonshine!!Southern Sweet Tea - In a 2L mason jar add 2 cups sugar and some lemon wedges - Add 8-10 tea bags and 500ml water - Put on the lid and shake until sugar is dissolved - Set the jar on the roof of a rusty shed in the sun for a couple of hours (or in the sun on a kitchen bench!) unitl the tea is dark!- squeeze and remove the teabags- Add 500ml Quiet Corner Distillery Premium Moonshine- Shake - Enjoy over ice like a true Southern Bell or Gentleman! Well I do declare!
