Seven SeasonsTamarind Whisky 700mL
About this product
Showcasing the world's oldest new flavours from Larrakia Country. A New World Whisky, weaving Indigenous knowledge and seasonal cycles into each release.Matured for 4 years and using only Tamarind sourced sustainably by our Aboriginal harvesters, this whisky balances bold, tangy-sweet flavours.Single Cask, only 137 bottles - individually numbered. The subtle aromas dancing from this whisky show incredible integration, offering notes of antique furniture polished with linseed oil, toasted brown cardamom pods, freshly grated nutmeg and lime, balanced with the brightness of freshly rolled pie crust before baking, the bench dusted in flour and the rolling pin infused with creamy country butter. The wonderfully silky palate reveals dark chocolate with candied orange peel and spiced chai on a solid foundation of sun-dried timber, finishing with the lingering suggestion of strong black tea dolloped with good cream.Long before European settlement, Aboriginal people traded with the Makassan seafarers from Sulawesi, who brought the Tamarind tree, still thriving in the Top End today. This was Australia’s first trade. This Whisky is a testament to our friends the Makassans.
