This wine was originally created to help aid the stresses of lockdown but is now a popular staple in the Calais collection. Our winemaker has created a beautiful dry red wine that has been washed through the skins of the 2024 Cabernet Sauvignon, giving the wine it’s ruby red hue. The nose features dark forest fruit and stewed cherry with a rich plum character on the palate. A combination of young and aged wines in this blend give it a palate full of big fruit and rich tannin, with the gentle, smooth finish of an aged red.
