Classic Cabernet / Carmenere 2023

This wine is a blend of two classic grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon 70% and Carmenere 30%.<br>Cabernet Sauvignon, a traditional Bordeaux variety, gives the wine structure and tannic depth Carmenere a typically Chilean variety, brings well rounded tannins and ample red fruit flavours with a touch of spice.<br>Intense ruby red colour with purple highlights.<br>Fresh bouquet laden with a mix of red and black fruit aromas such as blackcurrant, blueberry and blackberry mingled with spicy notes of pink and red peppercorn, clove and bay leaf.<br>Starts out fresh and flavourful becoming rich mid palate with very smooth tannins and, once again, red fruit aromas and spicy notes.<br>A well balanced and long lasting finish with good acidity that brings out the freshness.
