This cocktail is a LOT of fun, with lashings of incredible rum from the master makers at Plantation Rum, Passionfruit sourced from the cool climes of Peru, and fresh Australian lemon juice from the Central Coast.

As you might expect, the tang and excitement of the passionfruit is right up front in this cocktail, less expected however is the depth of character that the passionfruit brings. Real fruit (always) in this amazing little cocktail means there is a delightful amount of intriguing texture that is gone as quickly as it appeared. Underneath the surface, imperceptibly almost is the bright, fresh notes of the Plantation 3 Star elevated with the pineapple and caramel notes of the Plantation Original Dark, all balanced to perfection with the light acidity of fresh lemon juice.

Originally created at the world famous Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans in the 1940s, this cocktail is evocative of the hedonistic madness of the Bourbon Street neighbourhood.
