Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Floral, spicy, mint/liquorice, dried herbs, dark cherry, fresh blackberry. It’s medium to full-bodied, bright acidity, a fine chalky grip to tannin, tobacco and black fruit, some raspberry, with a slurry of tannin on a finish of excellent length. It’s a bold sort of wine, but has energy and character, and also some cherry almond on the finish, which for me is sort of a signature of this grape variety. Very good.
