Dark cherry, almond chocolate, some fruitcake and spice, mint liquorice, with something a little steely or ferrous. It’s medium to full-bodied, ripe dark cherry, dark bitter chocolate, some dried herb, tannin is ripe and a little smudgy, and the finish offers decent length, some raw almond and prune. It’s an interesting wine, and drinks well. A point of difference here is a thing.
