This grenache-based rose has consistently become one of Australia's favourite examples of this style. It's certainly made in the modern way. The colour is the palest of pale pinks, and the nose is beautifully floral, capturing the rose petal and cranberry-like and watermelon notes of the variety. Palate is quite delicate with a spicy light red currant character sustained through to the finish. You just want to go back for a second, no, make that a third glass. Terrific wine.

This is a good release of the famed Turkey Flat Rosé. It tastes of red cherry and watermelon, redcurrant and licorice, with cutrussy acidity washing throughout. It’s refreshing. It has flavour. And it’s more-ish – and you can’t ask for much more. It feels ultra neat through the finish too.
