Langskip is Wolfburn’s first (near) cask-strength release.Matured entirely in first-fill Bourbon casks for over five years, making Langskip the distillery’s oldest Whisky to date. Another ace whisky from the Wolfburn distillery way up in the north of Scotland. Langskip is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at a generous 58% ABV, making it a particularly powerfully flavoursome dram. Impressive as ever from Wolfburn.

TASTING NOTES
ON THE NOSE–
Aromas of fruit blossom meld with dried apples and light oak. In the background you’ll find traces of raisins and dates mixed with rich fruit cake.
ON THE PALATE–
Flavours burst onto the palate, rich and sweet, including maple syrup, dark chocolate, almonds and raisins. The finish lingers nicely – hints of vanilla gently fade away with a warming trace of caramel at the end.
FINISH–
Rich, full flavours ensure a wonderful finish. Sweet fruit tones are present to the end, and the final impression is of softly fading caramel. Truly scrumptious.
