About this product
Winemaking: Cooler summer conditions along with idyllic rainfall enabled an extended ripening period, producing wines with optimum acid retention and vibrant fruit flavours. Our Shiraz was harvested in the cool of the night and immediately crushed, destemmed and pumped to Vertical fermenters for fermentation at 24°C on French Oak. The parcels received regular pump overs for 6 days, ahead of draining, pressing and racking to Vat for secondary fermentation and maturation on French oak. Once blended, the wine was stabilised and filtered en route to bottling.
Tasting note: Deep red in appearance with a crimson hue. Concentrated and juicy aromas of blood plum, bramble and espresso overlay a full flavoured palate of blackberry conserve, dark chocolate and ripe, supple tannins.
