Old Durbar Black Chimney is an unique expression of peated malt with smoky notes.
Old Durbar Black Chimney develops its flavour from maturation in American white oak casks for eight to twelve years to impart notes of vanilla, coconut and caramel. Our whisky is then finished in oloroso sherry casks that previously held sherry wines from the Jerez region of Spain for an additional year. The result is a more refined flavours with notes of dried fruits, spices and underlying peaty smokiness.
