Laizhou Distillery is located in Qionglai, Chengdu, Sichuan—known as China’s “Millennia-old Liquor Town.” Covering 146,000 square meters, it has a planned annual capacity of 36,000 tons of spirits, representing over 80% of China’s total whisky production.<br>Crafted using certified Fino sherry casks sourced from Spain's core sherry-producing region, this expression is fully matured in first-fill sherry casks, imparting bold and distinctive character to the spirit. Nurtured by the natural landscape of Laizhou at 30°N latitude, the carefully distilled spirit merges seamlessly with the vibrant cask influence — culminating in a complex balance of savory, tart, and sweet flavors.<br>Tasting Notes<br>Sweet notes of raisins and red dates unfold first, followed by the salty-sour profile of preserved plum and the warm spice of cinnamon. These are elegantly layered with the soft, mellow sweetness of malted barley, showcasing a deeply distinctive and harmoniously complex flavor.
