Laizhou Distillery is located in Qionglai, Chengdu, Sichuan—known as China’s “Millennia-old Liquor Town.” Covering 146,000 square meters, it has a planned annual capacity of 36,000 tons of spirits, representing 80% of China’s total whisky production.
Jiao Yu's bottle bears elegant embossed bamboo, reflecting its Sichuan roots. Crafted with botanicals native to the region – Red Sichuan Pepper, Eureka Lemon, and Qingjian Orange — harvested at peak maturity, it undergoes heated infusion to draw out their full character. Only the finest cut of the spirit is taken, and through precise distillation, its vibrant aromas are refined and preserved, capturing the unmistakable essence of Sichuan in every drop.
Tasting Notes
Bright citrus notes of orange and lemon lead the nose, followed by a smooth, gentle entry. On the finish, the signature warmth and sweet spiciness of Sichuan Pepper emerge, delivering a layered and distinctive taste experience rooted in regional character.
