Like Inchmurrin and Inchfad, Inchmoan takes its name from an island on Loch Lomond. Loch Lomond Inchmoan 12 Year Old Rich Smoke & Spice is a perfect, smokier representation of Loch Lomond's signature style.
Under the supervision of Loch Lomond’s Master Blender, Michael Henry, the Inchmoan 12 Year Old celebrates the soft smoke character of Loch Lomond's style using a combination of whisky from our unique Straight Neck stills and more traditional Swan Neck Stills.
Inchmoan 12 Year Old has been aged in three types of American Oak casks: bourbon, refill and re-charred, giving prominence to soft smoke with additional highlights of warming spice elements of the distillery's signature style.
Loch Lomond Inchmoan 12 Year Old won multiple medals including: Double Gold at San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2024; Awarded Gold at International Spirits Chalenge in 2024; Gold at GSWM in 2024.
Nose: Dry peat smoke with vanilla syrup and cracked black pepper.
Taste: Sweet, medicinal peat and smoked bacon lead into roasted coffee bean with spice notes of clove and star anise. Warming spiciness combines with green apple and pear.
Finish: Long, waxy peat with citrus hop note and gooseberry.
