About this product
Hand harvested from a cool, picturesque vineyard in the Steels Creek district. Slow ripening and gentle handling have produced a fragrant, elegant and succulent Syrah from a stunning Yarra Valley vintage.
Halliday Review - 93Pts.
From a single vineyard in Steels Creek. Natural-yeast fermentation and matured in French oak barriques (3–5 years old) on gross lees for 7 months followed by 1 month in stainless steel prior to bottling. Vegan friendly. A gorgeous, bright and medium-deep crimson purple. Red and blue fruits together with a little licorice root and pink peppercorns intermingle in this bright, fruit-driven wine. Medium bodied, gently textured and with lovely, silky tannins running through the wine, this well-priced Yarra syrah has plenty of appeal.
